He studied theater at the Atlantic Acting School, Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and film technique at Stonestreet Studios. He earned a B.F.A. degree in Theatre from NYU and graduated with honors in 2014.

Since graduating, Jefferson has trained with Fight Masters J. David Brimmer and J. Allen Suddeth to become recognized as an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. He has assisted at NYU, SUNY Purchase, The Lee Strasberg Institute and The Metropolitan City Opera.

In his spare time he practices Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan, Nei Kung, fighting and weapon forms at CK Chu Tai Chi in Times Square.  In 2018, he began advanced study with Master Hyland Harris and started teaching Eternal Spring Chi Kung classes at the school.
